Check out this pairing offered by Best Cellars in Dupont Circle, Washington DC. If you are in the area, stop by June 7th from 2pm until 6pm to participate in the in store tasting.Divine White Chocolate
Paired with
: Toad Hollow Rose
Best Cellars Notes: "We chose this wine because the chocolate emphaszied the fruit characteristics of the wine and together they created a strawberries and creme experience.

Wine Notes:  Toad Hollow's Pinot spins a new take for California Pinot Noir - light, dry, and astoundingly crisp.
What: Pinot Noir
Where: Sonoma Califoria
FYI: Very versatile with summer vittles

Divine Milk Chocolate
Paired With:
Paringa Sparkling Shiraz
Best Cellars Notes: "We chose this wine because the milk chocolate brought out some interesting cocoa and blueberry notes in the wine."

Wine Notes: Velvety raspberry and blueberry sizzle in this full-bodied by refreshing sparkler.
What: Shiraz
Where: Clarendon, South Australia
FYI: Sugar is added to round out the fun!

Divine 70% Dark Chocolate
Paired with:
Rip Snorter shiraz Cabernet Blend
Best Cellars Notes: The bittersweet dark chocolate mingles with this wine to create a tart raspberry flavor profile.

Wine Notes: This coll climate Aussie delight is big on berry with notes of chocolate, licorice and the immensity of flavor you expect from down under.
What: Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon
Where: South Eastern, Australia

Divine Dark Chocolate with Fruit and Nut
Paired with:
La Sera Red Malvasia
Best Cellars Notes: This is one of our favorite wines to pair with chocolate.  It is a sparkling red dessert wine and naturally has ripe raspberry and strawberry notes to it, so we thought it matched perfectly with the Fruit and Nut Bar.

Wine Notes: Lovers of Italy's tickly, peachy-sweet Moscate d' Asti will fall head-over-heels for Lo Sera's red Piedmont cousin made from the rate Malvasia Nera. Fragrant with cherry blossoms and the bright tastes of freshly picked raspberries, La Sera is every bit as spritely as Moscato, but with deeper, darker notes of ripe red fruit bringing up the rear.
What: Malvasia Nera
Where: Piedmont, Italy
FYI: Great chilled as an aperitif or with red fruit desserts.
