My chocolate loving, always-on-a-diet best friend wanted an elegant birthday cake. My favorite aunt had given me her 4 ingredient Truffle Cake recipe which is rich and chocolate-y and has no flour in it.It also makes a very elegant presentation when you add bit of artistic decorative ganache festooning. Well, I made the cake and surprised my friend, who surprised me back by bursting into tears and telling me it was the best cake she had ever eaten. I make her one every year for her birthday now. She has bragged on this cake so much that everyone asks me to bring one to whatever social or family function is going on. The Truffle Cake recipe is very simple: sugar, butter, eggs and chocolate. The secret ingredient is Love.
