Ivy Bakery has created a mouth-wateringly indulgent dessert that is surprisingly simple to make and perfect for a dinner party. The cream cheese provides the gooey-ness and perfectly offsets the sweetness of the base.
Ingredients
Bottom Layer
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup Divine Cocoa
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 stick butter (melted)
- 2 eggs
Top Layer
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup Divine Cocoa
- 4 cups confectioners sugar
Method:
- Bottom Layer: Mix together and press into 9 x 13 pan
- Top Layer: Mix until combined and thick, pour on top of bottom layer
- Preheat oven to 350, bake for 30-35 minutes until cake tester comes out clean.
